   The Road to Conflict: Gallery
The meteor attractor. Or something.
The Starmaker prepares for a bumpy landing...
Fleet had modelled himself on Dan Dare, pilot of the future, but he thought he hid it rather well...
'I've seen this edition of Pimp My Spaceship six times,' complained the Emperor...
Unflappable Fleet surveys the surface of Skaro...
Tom and Jennie are about to get grabbed...
Abducted by the Daleks!
The Dalek city gets yet another makeover...
Tom and Jennie arrive in the Dalek city.
Skaro at its most hospitable...
Daleks give chase...
Jennie in a box...
The new Dalek ship prototype looked lovely, but its inability to fly was a bit of a drawback...
Tom and Jennie...
Captain Fleet spots Tom and does a valiant job not to give the game away...
The Hydroponic Force Houses. Just like it says to the right.
No idea what that red thing is. It's in the original comic and looks a little like a face...
Rush hour on Skaro was a surprisingly ordered affair...
The Emperor addresses his Daleks.
Now the only thing that lie between the Daleks and the conquest of Earth was working out which part of space the Earthmen referred to as Andromeda...

The Daleks didn’t have a name for their new meteorite-attracting machine, but it looked so cool they didn’t care...

An image taken directly from a frame of the comic strip. I’d been wanting to do this shot ever since I first made the opening titles and included the image there.

Captain Fleet, square-jawed and unflappable. Which is just as well considering what he’s about to go through.

The Emperor watched the Starmaker touchdown on Skaro. Time to send out a welcoming committee, he thought.

Warm and misty, thought Captain Fleet. Mr Grant didn’t have the heart to tell him that it was just his socks on fire.

Something watches Tom and Jennie. Any guesses at to what it might be?

The shadow on the wall should provide another clue as to what is about to abduct these two terrified teens...

The city of the Daleks

Tom and Jennie were lucky to find a taxi at such a late hour, even if the driver did look a little hostile.

Captain Fleet decided to go for a stroll, despite the forecast of bad weather and murderous alien cyborgs...

They’re not actually yellow Daleks. Yellow Daleks would be pretty groovy and cool and stuff, but these are just grey ones in a strong yellow light.

Jennie hides from the Daleks. Well, you would, wouldn’t   you?

Captain Fleet didn’t know what it was, but it frightened the living bejesus out of him...

Tom and Jennie try to work out how to rescue Captain Fleet(okay, so it’s mainly Tom, if we’re being honest)...

Captain Fleet looked shifty and wondered if the Daleks had a sense of smell...

It’s the Hydroponic Force Houses. You’d never have guessed the Daleks were such keen gardeners, but I guess those Vaaga plants had to be grown somewhere...

The Dalek Communications Room. With a big spinning, glowing ball-thing.

The Daleks prepare for war. This was a last minute additional scene that I added just because I wanted to show the Daleks moving en masse.

The Emperor’s stand-up routine didn’t exactly have them rolling in the aisles.

The Emperor was very excited to finally get directions to the planet Earth. The other Daleks had Googled it months ago but nobody thought to tell the boss...
